Take Part in Make a Difference Day
By George F on Sep 24, 2008 in Events
USA Today, the United States’ largest national newspaper, is holding its eleventh annual Make a Difference day on Saturday, October 25. USA Today recognizes some of the most worthy efforts by granting $10,000 to ten different charities based on the contributions that individuals make on Make a Difference Day, which is held every year on the fourth Saturday in October.
We at Landmark Education News know that our readers and contributors are involved in countless worthy community projects, organizations and charities. If you are planning an event, consider October 25 as a possible time and submit your effort to USA Today. Here are some of the projects that have been recognized as national award recipients in the past. Finally, let us know what you are up to by submitting your event to Landmark Education News as well!
